Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Well, I am a mother of three beautiful children who inspire me every day. I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, that only surrounds herself with people who are passionate about life.
What brought you to CrossFit?
I actually stumbled across CF. While I was looking for a new fitness regimen I saw a “Groupon” to try out CF, and I’ve been hooked since then.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Since March 2013
How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?
Crossfit has been amazing for many reasons in my life, the first being that I finally found a workout and healthy lifestyle I actually love doing. I learned how to work out consistently and got encouragement from coaches and fellow crossfitters to push myself athletically. Secondly, I learned good lifelong eating habits by trying new things that help me stay consistent. Lastly, I have met some pretty awesome people who inspire me every day to do better.
Favorite CrossFit lift/movement?
DeadLifts and Power Cleans (hands down)
Least favorite CrossFit lift/movement?
Name one goal and/or personal record you would like to accomplish through CrossFit.
Butterfly pull ups!
Do you have any advice for someone who is just starting CrossFit?
My advice to new members is to try to be consistent in coming to crossfit because even if your stiff and sore which I’m sure we all have been, going to the workout diminishes the pain and eventually becomes less and less over time. I promise!
